Got the pontoon on the trailer yesterday , this morning Angla and my self took it down.
Easy job to get off the trailer but a nightmare to work it upstream from the slipway to Danbrit.
A bit windy and we missed the tide but with a massive effort from Angela we managed to pull it , she was on the bank while I paddled and pushed off the rocks.
It floats and what's more is very stable to, it lie's with about a foot draft , so I'll make another section of the same size and spec.
Tell you what though once the tide was low enough they opened the gates up stream so it got very I mean very iffy , the current went up to at least 12 knots !!!!!
So any one needing to moor up here on the East coast bring your own beer !!
Cheers
Mick
