Visiting la rochelle

Does anyone know current visitor day rates for La Rochelle, web site, local knowledge, suggestions.etc !2.5m yacht 1.90m draft. 14 tons
I thought I might take myb joshua 40 to meet the more famous Bernard Moitessier Joshua on my way home to Milford Haven and do some shopping at the same time.

Whatever the cost (and it wasn't excessive 4 years ago when we spent a week there) do spend at least a few days there, preferably in the bassin des chalutiers or the berths right in the middle of town. You won't regret it, a fabulous place to visit. And do visit the market, one of the best we've found in France.

Another vote for Chalutiers - Les Minimes is very disorganised and a long walk or water bus ride away from the town. Great town and wonderful at Midsummer when they have a music festival.

I was in the Vieux Port for a week last summer. Wonderfully atmospheric, in behind the battlements, and right in the heart of things. Had a fantastic time. They were doing 7 nights for 5. For Stargazer (9.5m) total cost was 102 Euros.
