There's a virus hoax running around which tells you to delete this file:-

Just practically given away a G4. Much prefer a PC apart from anything else there's tons of software....

Now theres a popular argument, although not on a sailing forum. Betamax was a better system than VHS, just that Sony missed the boat and VHS was established. Shame you sold the G4 you could have had OSX a solid Unix system thats the envy of the Wintel world, who are stuck with the endless problems that Microsoft offer.

True, I'd be out of a job too, I'm in IT support and Macs need very little compared to PC's

That's a bit like saying that Greek owned ships get involved in more incidents than British ones. Of course they do... there's zillions of Greek ships and only 140+ British ones. The same applies to PCs and Macs.

Ok fair cop, though I worked in an IT team for a publishers with 4 guys supporting 700 mac and and 6 guys supporting 200 PC's.

ENOUGH - its a 20 year old argument that will go on for ever!!
