Thinking of upgrading my Virgin 7/24 isp to their broadband network. £17.99 for 3MB limit, anyone had good or bad experiance's with this service. I have been with Virgin for 5 years now so dont really want to change ISP. Their start up pack is £19.99 for modem and filters is this good or should I purchase elsewhere?? my system is P£ 450mhz with window 98SE.

Many thanks

Paul.

Did some research for my son and Virgin seemed to be the best deal to get started. There seems to be no annual contract so after a few months you can tranfere to £14.99 /m for 2 Meg download speed at not cost to transfere /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Been with Viring Broadband unlimited for 2 years now. No major problems and technical support has been really good the couple of times I've used it. No complaints at all.

Have the cheapest Tiscali service £14.99. No limit, works faultlessly, not the ultimate in speed by any means but amply fast enough for general surfing. Frees up the phone for SWMBO to use - a mixed blessing.
