Does anyone know when the Volvo 1 year warranty started and does it apply to "yacht sized" engines?

Yes it does apply to yacht sized engines, I was very miffed to discover they had reduced it to 1 year. Not sure when they did it though.

about 1998 or 1999, they started the 1 years, I think they did a 2 years warranty for poss a year but not sure.

My KAD32 came with a 3yr warranty, still has, was one of the last that did, and was delivered Oct 2001. Not sure when the exact cut off date was...
