I am interested in purchasing 2004 Viking 32ft Marin Flybridge with a single shaft driven Yanmar engine.

I cannot find a Viking website can anyone tell me whether this is a well made boat and if it is still in production? I would use it for coastal crusing with occasional cross channel trips with a young family.

It looks quite top heavy so am concerned it may roll badly.

Also any thoughts on what the range of values should be.

Many thanks

there was a head to head on this boat in MBM about 18 months ago, think it was against a shearline blue water.

Have had a look on board one and there is a lot of room but sorry I cant be of more help, think they are normally sold as Viki 34s

Yes, sold as as a Viki I believe, as well. Don't think it would be easy to get typical values as I suspect very few will have made the trip from Turkey into the UK and Eire.

Go to Wessex Marine website to see similar designs but from Scandinavia.

A friend of mine had one of these for a couple of years in Scotland before trading it in with Prosser marine,in fact I have just looked at Prossers web site and noticed he still has it for sale.
I always new when he was coming back or leaving his berth, has he liked to use the bow thruster a lot, don't know whether this was down to the boat or his helming ability. It looked a solid built boat with plenty of wood and was very roomy inside for a 32ft boat,he never had any issues with it when he owned it and went out in all sorts of weather. He part ex it for a new 39ft hard top Cruiser with IPS drives.

We have the 32 Sedan with single Yanmar 240 used off the East Coast; almost 4 years old had it from new. Brilliant value when we bought it due to exchange rates at the time.

Solidly built and sea kindly its no ocean greyhound (Single Engine) but the SD hull and weight mean it feels safe when it chops up.

PM me if you need any specific information.

Meantime these are now the sole UK and Eire agent, plenty of information, specifications and images on the site
