After it was agreed we would see a boat today we get a whasapp after we stareted the trip saying that the automativbilge pump needed replacing and it wouldn’t be ready ,did we want to cancel .I replies that we were happy to see the boat as was .As it has not rained for at least a month I pondered why was there water in the bilge? Anyway we nevergottoseetheboat as the seller just didn’t turn up or respond to messages. We saw the boat from the quay and the wife thought it was”just the thing”…….a Furia 25……So it’s not always the buyer who molests……anyway had a day out and inspected the marina in Sanxenxo in the ria the Pontevedra…….

A very fruitful trip.....you now have a model and size that your wife approves of....you are seriously close to owning a boat.
Find the owners club....and every one that is for sale in a 250 mile radius

Just googled it, what a cracking little boat ! Amazing how much they have packed it to make it a proper small yacht. Go back when he doesn't think he has a sucker hooked 👍

Yes we were impressed by the interior ,almost perfect…from the pictures of various examples…..maybe he will contact us ,Butthe water in the bilge ?..could be weeping keel bolts😳

Ever the optimist!
Have you ever been to a boat show or talked to a boat salesman?....they are not actually interested in you at all....they focus in on your wife. They know they can sell a bath tub with rowlocks to a man....but they can sell boat...if the wife is onboard.
It’s a universal principle....if the wife likes it you can have it. Especially true in boat buying

Yacht design well at least interior design had a rude shock in the 1960s when ordinary women took to the waves and demanded hot running water, showers ,double beds🙂

"Get rid of that damned boat!"
"I'm trying dear. I had someone interested, but it hasn't worked out"
In fact it reminds me of Christmas Future.....when one day far into the future....Wansey has a boat....and it’s now time to sell.....and we are regaled by endless posts of his efforts to sell...but buyers are feckless and just not serious enough
