Difficult one - but as a pure guess: Seil to port, Easedale ahead, beyond probably Belnahua, Fiola, Dubh Feith, Ormsa, Fladda, Lunga, top of Scarba, Jura behind, Guiresdeal, Dubh Mor, Dubh Beag, Eileach an Naoimh, A Chuili, Garbh Eileach, Dun Chonnuil (The Isles of the Sea) - Insh to starboard, Mull beyond... possibly...
No, perhaps you're off the west coast of Mull...?!
You were right the first time about the location. From L to R:
Seil and Easdale in the foreground with Scarba betwixt and behind and the west coast of Jura further back still. The last two are definitely Insh and Mull. As for the rest I'm not sure what can be seen in the video as opposed to what you know to be there.
In the Garvellachs frinstance although Dun Chonnuil is certainly in front I suspect that the outline is only Garbh Eileach with Eileach an Naoimh and A Chuili completely hidden. Belnahua is probably just discernable to the right of Easdale and then the Black Isles.
Altogether though 9/10 VG. A hauf 'n' a hauf next time our paths cross. Now tell me you didn't look at a chart. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
So who would like to see more grainy video of the good ship Silkie on a flat and sunlit sea in F3 last Sunday?
ON a completely unrelated matter, is it true that with the luxuryless pocket cruiser SV Silkie being a tad under 7m you will be running regular booze cruises on the West coast for the remainder of the season?
Shsht! I don't want to give too much away with plans at such an early stage. I'm still trying to work out how to get more than a dozen punters aboard without having to issue wellies.
I also predict a sharp rise in the value of 22 footers and am trying to corner the market in wee Hurleys so would be obliged if you could keep all this strictly between ourselves.
I've been thinking of having a website designed...
