Hi, looking to install a combo charger/inverter. Would you choose Victron or Mastervolt products and why?
In papers Mastervolt specs look better as it has better thermal stability and are more compact but have read a few bad reviews. On the other hand Victron has bluetooth which offers easy setup and alarms.

I'm victron only, reason? dunno, happened and tbh their opensource policy, the ability to have venusOS running on a 20euro raspberry pi and managing a whole system is rather nice.
further, being in Greece, if you decide/think/plan to fit solar, victron is your best bet for mppt controllers.

Have had both, Victron far more reliable by a long way, Mastervolt is not very well made and doesn’t last (all from my own experience)

Best bet due to reliability as I see Mastervolt also makes an MPPT controller?

in my business we mostly deal with Victron but occasionally with Mastervolt,
both are good brands, Mastervolt in the past had more oem sourced products wich were a bit less reliable,
curently they have nice solutions when working with Liion batts.

in your case, The Victron Multiplus or Quattro are indestructable workhorses !
In my boat I have 2 x Quattro 8Kw and run CMC zero speed fin stabs from battery's during multiple hours !!

Victron,
buy well buy once.
Just bought one and just been delivered as i read this lol!
