The Victoria 34 & Frances 26 are both Chuck Paine designs. Beautiful designs both, well built and lovely to sail. You'll get a lot more informed response if you post this in scuttlebutt. These motorboatie types arn't really interested unless its making loads of noise, producing a swamping wash and burning plenty of fuel. (Bugger, I'd made a resolution not to have a pop - thats the last one broken).

Victoria Yachts used to be built at Victoria Rampart at Warsash. The company went into liquidation about 2 1/2 years ago. They built the Francis, 26, 30 and 34. They are very sturdy reliable cruisers which can safely carry you round the world. The joint services (Army/Navy/Airforce) used 20 of the for sailtraining and after clocking up the equivalent of 5 times of the world the total refit cost of the fleet was only £ 5000. If you want more info give a call to a friend of mine who used to work for Victoria Yachts. I have spoken to him and he says he is happy to talk to you. His name is Chris Dixon. UK Mob. 07768 863 414.
