How badly are they supposed to vibrate?I was given mine seized so I took it apart and reassembled it with new seals piston and gaskets.The bearings were a little rough but not terminal.I took the thing apart today because I was worried the mains had let go but no they're still acceptable it's the small end that is worn .If I can find a good second hand piston and bearing I'll put it back together if not I'll break it for spares.I've checked the cost of a new piston assembly and at $90 plus postage from the US it's too much for such an old engine.Does anyone know where I can source a usable piston?

FWIW I think that had you tried to order from the US you would have discovered that it is not Mercury policy for parts to be shipped out from the US by dealers over there.

I don't know,I've ordered and got parts from Crowley Marine in the US,maybe it's just them.
