VHF Weather reports Belgium coast

Can anyone advise on weather reports issued by Flemmish and Dutch authorities. We have DSC with ATIS but no Navtex.
Also can you still pick up English VHF weather reports or Shipping Forecast on LW?

I am planning on using internet on phone as a last reort given costs. Have an iphone which is pretty handy this side of the water.
I suppose gprs diminishes across the water.

Oostende pilots will give you a forecast Ch 09

The Dutch Met office issue very good forecasts in English several times a day. Times are 0805 1305 1705 local time. VHF Channel depends on where you are, but 23 & 83 usually. All listed in detail in Reeds.

Vlissingen Port control Ch 14 will give a local forecast in English if you call them.

Dutch Coast Guard gives computer generated weather forecast on VHF at regular intervals in English - pre announced on Ch16. Pretty good, our experience was that it was better than Met.
Oostende radio broadcasts weather too, but no idea when. Always seemed to be at breakneck speed.

If you ask them nicely (!!), the will repeat the latest forecast for you.
