VHF repair

Afternoon people.

My Silva VHF (fixed) is playing up and i have traced it to the speaker connection. However it seems to be a board issue as apposed to the speak itself or the connector.

Does anyone know off their heads somewhere local to East Essex that still do the repair thing?

The rest of the Unit is A1..

You can try Mantsbrite in Brightlingsea, but I suspect you may have to send it back to Silva, or solder it yourself.

I have a 12v soldering iron you can borrow if you are local to Burnham On Crouch....

you could try a CB radio repair place, truck stop service station etc.
worked for me, after all there almost the same thing VHF, CB
