VHF radio repairs

I see there was a thread in 2008 - about the time I bought my Silva S15. It suddenly won't do anything apart from turn off and on. It won't respond to any other button. Anyone know where one might get a repair please - or are these now for landfill like everything else these days?!!

Try PRS Comms, but bear in mind a new set will be around £100, so for a 6 year old set not really worth spending more than say £60 and that doesn't buy much of anyone's time.

Not really - my boat had two Icom M59/M60 units, one still works fine, the other packed up two years ago just after I bought the boat, both were/are about 15-20 years old.
