VHF Poor Transmission

My VHF radio in Treble C isn't transmitting properly, I'm pretty sure its an aerial problem

Can anyone suggest an "expert" in the Chichester Harbour area who could look at the problem for me? Ideally someone that I could ferry out to the mooring?

Surely you can dig up a spare aerial from somewhre or someone and try a test call using that. It should work fine on the coachroof. If it works ok you know the answer!
