VHF Courses, Where to go?

Need to get my ticket asap, - has anyone got any recommendations? I'm Solent (Fareham) based so I know there are plenty around, - just wondered whos best and what sort of price to look for?

Did my VHF course at YachtCom in Bursledon. Bob Smith is friendly and chatty and proficient as an instructor.

I'd recommend 5 Star Marine aka Solitaire on this forum.

If you're on the east coast, don't bother with the RNSYC. Total waste of time.

Did mine with Hot Liquid, Shmarock Quay. Simon, the instructor was a nice guy and 2 out of the 6 of us got 100% in the test (and the rest passed) so he cannot be too bad at it

Cheaper if you lot share a car and do it all inc dsc for 25 quid here.

They provide "elearning" pre course work which I like the idea of...
Price seems on par with all others around this area £85 plus RYA fee

Has anyone had any experience of them?
