VHF aerial fixing problem

It seems VHF aerials either come with lots of cable and a small threaded end to fix to a masthead mount or not much cable and a large threaded end to fit to a rail mount.
Just to make it difficult I need lots of cable and to fit to a rail mount. The path the wire needs is more than the 6m length I can buy and I really don't want to add an extension and have a joint in an aerial wire. The rail I am attaching to is a vertical stainless pole. I need to be able to easily take off or fold down the aerial when I am lifted out.

Can anyone see an easy way for me to join a masthead designed VHF to a vertical pole?

thanks in advance

If it's a 1" diameter pole you can use a pole adapter and then a Metz 1"-14tpi conversion bracket to take the antenna to which you can connect as much cable as you need. Have look on the vhf antenna accessories page on my website and you'll see the parts.

You could use an ADAP2 adapter screwed straight onto the pole adapter, but you're limited to 6m of RG58 cable, so not an option without a join.
