My twin Perkins Sabre M300ti's exhaust through a pair of fairly large Vetus water locks very similar to these:

Does anyone know what they look like inside? I find them a bit too quiet, it'd be nice if I could make the engines sound a bit more throaty and I was wondering if there were baffles or anything similar inside the water lock that could be removed?

There is a cutaway on p73 of the catalogue which shows you what they look like inside. Nothing that you can remove though

Fit a partial bypass for some of the cooling water going through it. just dont over do it as if plastic, might melt. Has the advantage will reduce back pressure as well.

Gee! And I thought hooligans confined their activities to the road.:disgust:
