Having read with interest the article in the latest Yachting Monthly on whether you should fix your fixed prop or let it rotate freely when sailing, I'dlike to let mine rotate as it appears to be less drag. My stern gland is the vetus type that has water fed to it from the engine and I’m unsure as to whether you can let the prop rotate if no new water is being fed to it because the engine is off when sailing.
