Vetus hydraulic steering fluid

What is a good alternative to genuine Vetus hydraulic fluid?

Any decent 15 centistoke viscosity aero hydraulic oil, or simply Dexron II or III ATF. The latter is pink so leaks are more easily found.

I use Dextron II cos it's ok for the gearbox too.

We use "standard" hydraulic fluid, 32 whatevers. It's what the boat used on the previously installed hydraulic system, and what it uses with the new Vetus system we put in over the winter. No issues thus far.
