Vetus fuel filters

Does anybody know of a pattern part to substitute in a vetus WS250 filter.
The vetus price seems very high, as usual.

They mostly do Racor (which are very good) and there may be an equivalent, but they are not cheap either. It often happens on this forum that someone will come up with an option from Halfords at half the price which may be ok if you are just coast hopping. With a longer distance in prospect I would be happier with the real McCoy.

Have you tried to use the Fleetguard reference facility. I think you need to input the engine manufacturer first then another window opens for the type/reference.

Thanks, I use the fleetguard site a lot for filters and it is very good, The filter that I was looking for was a WS250 and I ended up buying them from a local Vetus dealer. I just dont like paying their prices.
