Old (1999 ) 23kgf bow thruster ( says bow prop ) on the motor ..

Seems very weak but I understand it maybe the weakest in the range ..
Any pointers or experiences ? Tunnel is 4inch I reckon ..
If I change it I’ll gave to have a small kgf rating and I’ll be back to square one ?

Have you tried cleaning the brushes or even renewing them. I suspect that if you change it a new tunnel my be required unless the replacement is the same. Another thing to cheque is the prop in that is it OK, etc.

I have checked the brushes on my vetus bt but never replaced. On mine the brushes are under the wire mesh so fairly easy to get at, but it does depend upon the installation, etc.
