I've done some searches but have not yet turned anything up... Having bought an iPad for use on board I'm now trying to work out how to mount it. I don't want to use it in the cockpit but would like to be able to mount it in 2 different positions below.

One for the chart table to avoid switching on the Raymarine plotter, which needs a fusion reactor to power it.

Other for the saloon bulkhead so the children can watch films while under way.

Yes, I know that these are not simultaneously possible...

Thanks

Be careful with Velcro on varnished vertical surfaces. I found that the adhesive backing (Velcro Industrial grade as shown on video) loses it adhesive properties over a period of time - probably due to chemicals migrating out of the varnish.

Don't mount the iPad in a place where it's got too far to fall!!

iPad mount

Friends bought this iPad stand for my wife for Christmas is very stable and could easily be fixed in various locations. Head swivels to view from either direction.

Height also helps prevent "iPad shoulder" !!!

Probably bought off eBay but could find out if any one is interested.

Look at The Wallee (yes that is spelt correctly!)

Very slim case over back of your iPad and a simple cross screwed on wall/bulkhead which clicks on and off in both portrait and landscape.

Secure once fitted.
