Can a VDO Oceanline range, fuel guage be calibrated to give a good indication of the actual amount of fuel in a thank.
I have just connected up aforementioned guage/sender etc, but the guage is showing well below 1/4 tank, when it is actually over half full. both units are euro resist.
Tia of any advice.

There's no calibration, but I'd suspect the sensor could have been incorrectly installed. There are detailed instructions on correct sensor dimensions here.

Thanks for the link, but my tank unit is not a lever type, but a tube type which was matched supplied and fitted to the tank by the suppliers Tek-tanks.
But since my original post I have found an instructions sheet for the guage, which shows calibration of the guage to level by way of an adjustment potentiometer screw on the side of the guage.
Adjustment must be done with the tank empty.
Thanks again.
