I have these boost gauges on my boat and when running slowly with no boost registering, one of them lights this light. Very rarely, they both do it, but the starboard engine seems to always be lit when running slowly. It goes out when I pick up speed and the boost kicks in. Nothing I’ve read gives any mention of the light, let alone what it means. Anyone know? Cheers

Have you wired it correctly. It has a stepper motor and needs one positive from battery source and one positive from ignition. Also as it can be analogue or canbus the damn gauge can get confused. The light is programmable but to be honest VDO Singleviu Germany support sucks so bad you may as well give up now, seriously, bunch of ignorants on their own product, and go to VDO Instruments - Gauges - Transducers - Senders - Spares and get an original bona fida VDO analogue boost gauge of the type we all love. Save you grief in the long run and the gauge is dirt cheap. It's the sender that is expensive and you already have those. Call them, super helpful and very knowledgable
