VAT (IVA) increase in Spain

It's been well publicised in MB&Y but IVA (VAT) is going up in Spain from 16% to 18% 1st July. My marina fees are due in August (incidently no increase from last year) and the marina have agreed to take my annual payment in advance (why wouldn't they!) on 30th June at the 16% so I save €95
All a bit obvious really but it might just prompt someone to do the same.

We are planning a cruise to Ibiza this month so will be refuling on our return at the old VAT prices.
Only hope the marina has enough fuel at the end of the month.

Still, got to get used to it.
We will all be paying more later.

That's a good point Hurricane, I hadn't thought of fuel. We will be filling up as well as paying the marina fee on the 30th June......going to be a busy first day for us.
