Varnish

Is it my imagination that it it is getting quite difficult to find varnish on chandlery shelves other than International. Posting on the Classic forum helped me track a mail order supplier for Epifanes and Blakes within reasonable reach of London; but I note that googling for other options produces poor results. I visited two chandleries locally today - ok it was in Northampton - but neither could offer anything other than International. Is International the 'Tesco' of the varnish world?

I've no problem buying Epifanes down here near Chichester. However if you look at This Site you can get most paints and varnishes by mail order.

Yes, I saw that one and obviously they can provide. What I did not say in my earler ramblings is that buying by mail order adds to costs for shipping/postage when it would be nice to be able to pick up one's preferred product off the shelf/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
