Hi folks , bought an old enterprise last year ( wood with air bags ) . Want to have a bigger bopat but need to start somewhere ....
The protection is cracking on the foredeck ( if thats what you call it ) . Not sure what was put on it since i seems like a polyurathane type of thing ( flexible when peeled off ) . Anyway it will strip fairly easy . Question is what do I do when I have it stripped Slight sanding ..... clean with something then what to put on .. varnish of some kind ?
Also , my dingy sailing involves me getting wet alot . Would like to take the mast down and put an outboard on so I can get the kids involved just use like a tender . Is this possible on an enterprise ? . Transome is not complete so no sure how to attach . If so what size do I need ( hp and shaft length) , don't need speed just pottering up and down river . Would consider electric outboad too if I knew what size .
