/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifHi, I am new to the boating world and need some help and or advice. My friend and I have just bought an Admiralty Pinnace of 52' LOA. What we need to know is: where is the nearest Blackwater Disposal Point to Littlehampton? (there isn't one at the Marina) and can we run a TV from the shorepower supply?. I hope some one out there can help. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hi

you have come to the right place for help!
sorry but I don't have the answer to your question
but it may be best to ask at the harbour office,
here is thier Website if you did not already have it
good luck and welcome to the forum

I can't imagine any reason why anyone would want to stop you running a TV and I would be astonished if the power line wasn't up to it. Even a colour TV uses less than 1/2kW and I would expect shorelines to cope with up to 1kW. I have never had the luxury of marina power but Power links in my local boatyard & on campsites cope with up to 1kW. Electric Kettles at 3 > 7kW might be another story but you may get away with a small one for a short time.
