varifold prop

Hi All.

new to sailing and just starting to get my Leisure 23sl ready for next season. changing anodes on Volvo 120sb sail drive and varifold prop.

prop blades came apart real easy revealed and the centre 6mm threaded allen bolt that sits on top what looks to be the securing nut for the main boss. its looks a bit to rounded to me and wondering is this a cover or some sort of locking device. it seems solid do don't want to force anything yet.

Thanks that is very similar, bruntons have sent be a fitting manual just now and explains the lock system witch is just a allen bolt and no tap.View attachment 36696
