Been looking at one in Vigo that looks in good shape from the internet .But looking at the original plans the interior shows a galley to port and nav desk to starboard ,going forward settees facing each other with a table. The one in Vigo has a linial galley facing a table with seating Al round………who thought that was a good idea,ok in a caravan but in a boat you loose a leeward berth in fact you loose two places to relax and stretch out…..van de Stat drew a proper arrangement ……..

I appreciate this is yachting heresy but... interior layout just doesn't matter very much. If she's safe and sails well and doesn't have major things wrong* and is reasonably comfortable, all's good. If the sailing is good enough any shaped seat will do for the subsequent nap.

*(there are zero secondhand boats without minor things and jolly few new ones so don't worry about it)

Yes I agree my comment was why turn a seagoinginterior to that of a caravan …..but that’s only my opinion…we had an Albin Vega that pprobablyhad the best accommodation for a small yacht,or course following the traditional arrangement

Many were home completed from Tyler mouldings so layouts vary. the linear galley works well as a "seagoing" option, particularly with a narrow gutted boat like that. You just need a good bum strap and something behind you like a table. I had a linear galley on my Bavaria 37 and never felt any constraints about coking at sea.
