Valeting/repair sails price ?

Hi,

Can anyone give me a rough guide to how much I can expect to pay for valetting / perform minor repairs to a genoa & mainsail and also a cockpit sprayhood ?

Laundry is usually by weight. My last bill from Kemps for laundry checking and minor repairs was just under £300. Sprayhood is more a DIY job unless it needs repairs.

As usual 3 phone calls to sailmakers will give you a more accurate estimate based on exactly what you ask them to do..

A little over £100 for main and genny for the Twister, inc storage until collected. Sanders, Lymington. No idea on sprayhood.

Westaways just charged me £163 for minor repairs and laundry for a biggish genoa - 43 ft boat.

My main and genoa from an oversized Twister mast were just over £140 which included a fair bit of sewing and a repair in one small area and the cleaning.

p.s.
A great weekends sailing in my Twister this weekend, didn't see many of those Swedish boats out though, a bit too breezy ??
