A poem from StellaGirl

I think the problem may stem from the ditty that she put in the card(s) she sent out:

Roses are red,
Primroses yellow.
Are you my boyfriend
Or some other fellow?

Re: A poem from StellaGirl

Although our love is over, it remains
An unfrequented garden in my heart,
Its beauty quite inseparable from pain,
A wilderness where once was willful art.

I hope a little piece of you is still
Reserved for me, a place you may not go,
But where my lampost, untenanted, can fill
A moment with my music, sweet and slow.

There are no wishes like a former lover's
That from the dark, repentant night must shine.
And so though we have both moved on to others,
I send you from afar this Valentine

I'm leaning on a lamppost
At the corner of the street
In case a certain little lady comes by.
Oh me! Oh my!
I hope the little lady comes by.
I don't know if she'll get away,
She doesn't always get away,
But anyhow I know that she'll try.
Oh me, oh my!
I hope the little lady comes by.

There's no other girl I would wait for,
But this one I'd break any date for.
I don't want to ask what she's late for.
She wouldn't leave me flat;
She's not a girl like that.
She's absolutely beautiful
And marvellous and wonderful,
And anyone can understand why
I'm leaning on a lamppost
At the corner of the street
In case a certain little lady passes by.

Are you two in the same room? For love to blossom, you need to talk to each other. It definately sounds like there is a smouldering romance waiting to happen.

I'll get my coat.
