V mattress and aft cabin cushions wanted

I have been trying to find a suitable and affordable site to purchase a v (with insert) double mattress and seating/bed cushions for aft cabin. All I can find are memory foam and extremely expensive solutions. Does anyone know of a 2nd hand or cheaper site for these items please?

I got mine from a market, cut from templates while I waited. Different grades of foam, glued together for the V birth and car upholstery stuff for the seats.

That's handy, the foam shop I used is in Shepherds Bush market From the Goldhawk Road side, about half way through the market on your right. Lots of fabric shops there too. They've had plenty of use over the past six years and are still in good shape. You could get a thin layer of memory stuff glued on your V birth foam for added comfort.

Don't skimp on your mattresses!!!

Make sure the foam meets all the flame retardant regs, and try to get 'sleeping' foam, as used in Motorhomes etc. (VW camper forums seem to know the cheap but good options!!) or you'll just suffer. Think firm, with (as said earlier) toppers perhaps.

That's great, thanks for all the advice. I will take a trip to She Bu this weekend. I doubt I'll get the interior as nice as that but I will try!
