Best document is the original invoice dealer to first owner.

They dont check every time. I sailed to France lots from SCoast and boat has now been moored in France 16months and I've never been asked to prove any VAT stuff

The invoice is good enough. Although it does not prove that vat wasn't reclaimd, French have no concept of reclaiming vat in the same way - vat would not be chrged in the first place.

Alternatively, You could get some special parchment paper from Paper Chase, and DIY your own certificate

well, it';s a start, and would definitely do for me. I have a mate in germany who made up an id card, stamped it with a bit of cut-out potato and then claimed the dole, got a house, and then a nice driving licence, so the parchment thing wil definitely be fine.

Disgraceful..

..and do we take it that after years of investigation by other government bodies , TCM actually knows that Himmler is alive and well , living on a Thames houseboat - having qualified as Yachtmaster (part 3) and claiming the dole?

It would all make sense if B1 was now outed , perhaps we should ask the BBC (Bleeding Bad Correspondents) to investigate?

Come to think of it does that mean that Tom, in defaming Lady Ellen, should now resign?
