I am awaiting delivery of my 'Spot3 tracker' ( please don't bother telling me I have bought the wrong tracker!!)
Instead ( as I await delivery) advise me about which contract to go for and what I will need for family and friends to get the best information possible about my whereabouts.
We have 'normal' desk and laptops and basic android phones, are there apps which we can get which can aid 'sexy' presentation of data.
Do we have to specify who the recipients of any emergency calls should be? does the device have to be registered to an emergency response authority ( we are in the Western Med)
We are computer illiterate so no long words please!!
Many thanks

Can't advise much on the latest Spot's mine is a first generation one. When you get it you have to register it one their website and from there you get the opportunity to set up who receives which messages etc and link 'check ins' to Facebook and twitter if you want, its up to you how you set that up just go through all the pages it is actually quite straightforward for computer numpty's like myself. no need to register with an emergency response authority as it goes through spot's own system. I only have the basic contract as it gives all I need from that for the emergency stuff I rely on an epirb and vhf.
