I was sitting on the back of my tub watching the sun come up, when in pops the following email from those beastly chaps at SKY
We are glad that you are continuing to enjoy your amazing Sky content while abroad.
For continued access, you will need to watch online content in your home country within the next 7 days, as we need to check that you are still a resident.

I do not watch much TV via SKY Go (last time about a month ago, certainly not while at home in the UK) however the prospect of going home within seven days to keep watching is a bit of a pain (boat in Netherlands). I was in the UK two weeks ago, using the TV so whatever systems they have in place clearly did not pick up on my location.
Does anyone know if this is a Sky TV via internet only issue or does it apply to satellite TV - can they track the location of a SKY box/card?
