Using an Aerogen2 regulator to regulate a Rutland 913?

Hello a bit of an unusual question for wind genny people..I have a Rutland 913 and is there any reason I shouldn't use an Aerogen2 regulator? All it does is dump the excess voltage in to a big coil if it goes over 14.4v. I can't see why not, cheers Jerry

It will work just the same what ever device is attached to it. you might need a relay to switch it off when under engine / shore charger
