Having bought just over 1m too much, I now have 2 shorthish lengths of nice white hose which seem a shame to waste.

1.2m & 53cm

Cable clipped to a stanchion or something, things could be put in them....

Any ideas?

Richard

Cut into 1 foot approx lengths, slice lengthways, slide over lines/anchor warps for chaffe protection.

You can drill small holes in the end for light line to secure to warps.

Very useful.

slit lengthways and clip over rubbing strake where the fenders hang to protect from chafe...

or place in garage to make a handy dust collection device.

Swing the larger bit rapidly round your head whilst doing impressions of some 1970's pop group. (Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band?)

That is of course if you don't wish to avail yourself of any of the more sensible suggestions above......

punch holes in it along the length and use it as a digerydoo.

for the shorter length, slice at 1 cm intervals and give to swmbo for her birthday as "definitely the latest fashion jewelry amongst the London designer set."

or simply move the khazi nearer the seacock! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif actually, fit a skin fitting in the cockpit, connect the 1m length and you have a built in urinal for the times you dont fancy going below. mind you, on your size of boat you may well have a cockpit urinal anyway.

[tongueincheek]take the longer hose and a snooker ball to your local bars. Challenge all the girls in the bar to suck the snooker ball through the pipe. Invite the girl who can suck the ball through the pipe the quickest (or the slowest depending on your taste) back to the boat[/tongueincheek]
