Hi Everyone, I'm currently in the middle of a Marine Archaeology University project. (studying shipwrecks)
Part of the project basically involves the deployment of samples on the sea bed which require fixed moorings. Nothing drasticly heavy, but does require some tackle.
Does anyone in the Lymington and surrounding area have any spare old ground tackle kicking around that they would be happy to part with for a good cause?
Any old chain, schackles etc... would be much appreciated. It's not mooring anything drasticly heavy so condition not much of an issue.
Quite happy to stick a few quid in the RNLI box for your trouble. And you may even get a smile from the wife for "getting rid of that old ****".
