Well, following No Regrets posting that he is retiring and buying a Broom 30, it seems MBY has picked up on the interest this has caused and have published a feature on the Broom 30.

No comparative tests on pipes and Giant Slippers though!

Next will be an article on which additive is best for keeping all those acres of net curtains whiter than white,followed by a comparision on brass polishing pads for those hideous tacky brass lamps with tasselled lampshades that Broom owners are convinced are the height of fashion...............in Posh and Becks Essex mansion with decor by the Argos catalogue maybe....

I read somewhere that a certain stairlift company make specialised stairlifts to get into the Aft cabin of Broom 30's. Seems to be big business for em /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hi no regrets,

We have recently purchased this broom 30 & she has been well cared for! Love the fly deck & she still turns heads here on the river Avon, we are just refitting her out so thank you for the information shares on the engines etc this has been very helpful! Thought we would touch base to let you know she is still going strong…
