We are using Seaclear and find it V useful. I have tried saving waypoints which seems to work but they are saved in a strange format which I cant open. We are currently doing a screen dump with the list of co-ords and a chartlet showing the waypoints. We then manually enter the coords into the track plotter ( Garmin128) Slow and with potential to make mistakes. If I could get the coords in a useable format then I could upload from the PC.
Any ideas please?

Not sure if this will help but have you checked out the mapping programme embedded in the seaclear programme file download?
If you open the programme you will find the file-never sure why it is hidden.
This enables you to take photographic images of charts and fix their geographical coordinates;scale;projection etc.
Cannot recall what else it does.
Did once have a full set of SW pacific charts compliments of
http://www.linz.govt.nz/hydro/charts/digital-charts/chart-images
They have a full free set of tiff chart images they use for producing paper charts to which you add coords etc.

Seaclear to GPS

You need a free piece of software called G7ToWIN to manage the dialogue.
The instructions are on P24 of the Seaclear manual.
Could be the answer if you haven't got it yet.
It works automatically in the background once installed (and verified) in the main Seaclear directory. i.e.once installed you ignore it.
