Use the North channel going into Rochford.

Went into Rochford for the winter berth today. About 1/2 mile from Rochford, the channel splits into 2. There is more water in the North channel closer to the bank.
New pontoons at Carter & Ward good and solid, with loads of cleats, but watch out on the edges, as ther are square sharp edges on the metal frame which would do your boat a mischeif. I will bring it up with them this week.

PS, they now have a 10 tonne lift crane/cradle.

PPS Its very cheap too.

Have they still got half the navy in there? A blooming great ex-warship in there last time I went there (by car).

I believe there is a ruddy great boat up there - probably never get it out again now.

I saw Robyn , forumite of this parish entering the estate as I came out today!
