Anyone got any recommendations for a cheap USB GPS for my laptop or home PC? Its only for planning at home at the moment.
I am not sure I trust the myriads of Chinese vendors on ebay, so would welcome any positive experiences.

Thanks

But why do you want one for planning at home? If you try to go to a section of the chart that does not contain you house, then you must turn off the GPS to allow the move.

pm me your details - I have a fortuna 'u2' you can have - put something into an rnli box /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I bought one on Ebay from Singapore, paid £11.99 for it and £15.00 for FEDEX delivery, arrived 2 days later and is 100% accurate.

I have bought loads of stuff from Hong Kong on Ebay and usually arrives quicker than stuff bought in UK.

Paul.
