Ive got a 5.5m american jetboat with a mercruiser onboard, which is sat on a 7m german trailer. Each trailer axle (2 axles) has a tag on it;

i resized the pic maybe too small to get the forum to accept it. It says

achsaruck uber 20km/h: 800
Google translate says “jerk over 20: 800”
Typ: AD-8
No: 03070391
Only difference between the tags is this number, 030703912

Trailers maker is
“peka-fahrzeugbau gummifederachse” who made vw bits.

i need to have a rough idea of the weight to know what brake kit to put on it. I was hoping the 800 ‘s would translate to 800kg max for each axle.
i was going by here;
Braked Running Gear Kits - Towing and Trailers Ltd

Current tyres are 13’s.

I dont have a clue what the trailer or boat weigh.
and i cant take them to weigh as they have no brakes.
I was going to guestimate it at 2tonnes.
Fibreglass boat with a heavy engine, and a solid trailer. Maybe 2.5 tonnes ?
Does that sound about right ?

It'll be "aschDruck" - axle pressure, so I would read that 800kg per axle
"gummifederasche" means rubber sprung axle
