Have a look at the current issue of MBY. There is an article on importing US boats into the EU and the necessity for the boat to comply with the RCD (Recreational Craft Directive)and be CE marked. There are companies that will do this for you (see http://www.ceproof.com/) obviously at a cost. Also dont forget that there will be VAT and possibly some duty as well as transport costs to pay
