Hi everyone,

My yard in the Hamble has gone through a few changes recently and they have now decided that the lease does not allow for liveaboards - I've been given ten days notice!

I own a small boat that I'm doing up to sail round the world but due to financial constraints am living onboard whilst doing the work.

The boat is now on the water but I urgently need a new yard or berth locally.

Can anyone help me pleeeeeeeeeeeese

My mobile number is 07793549102

Thanks

Lucy

don't know how cheap it has to be but northney allowed us to live aboard while fitting out before our last cruise.

I dont think I have ever heard the words "Cheap" and "Northeney" used before in the same sentence. From my experience the two are mutually exclusive /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I lived aboard at Kemp's some years ago, they were a bit iffy about it but turned a blind eye as it wasn't for that long. It's relatively cheap and convenient, but nearly all the berths are drying, my yacht didn't come down very evenly on the mud which wasn't always ideal.

Lucy, which yard is giving you the yo-heave-ho? Is your yacht seaworthy, or still at 'project' stage, as that makes some difference?
