A 20ft. approx. boat was pulled of Margam Sands last night (Saturday 10th September) by Port Talbot Lifeboat. The boat is like a Prelude or similar class. The boat is in good order with a locked cabin and has parted her mooring and drifted onto the beach.
The boat's name is Faith is bermudan rigged with roller reefing on her foresail. She has a blue hull with white topsides and has dodgers with bits of the name Faith sewn on them. She also has an outboard motor.
She is currently tied up at Monkstone CSC Marina in the River Neath and any information concerning her owner and normal moorings would be appreciated.
Milford CG are aware of the incident and well done to Port Talbot Lifeboat for bringing her off Morfa Beach and towing her to Monkstone.
I have placed my telephone no. on here to try and locate the owner. 07712889202 or contact PT Lifeboat Station 01639 884290. Thanks.
