My sidelining has seen better days and I'm thinking about having it replaced. Might also be a good time to have the windows refurbished.

Anyone have any recommendations for upholsterers and window repair companies who work in the Henley area?

Thanks.

i do this type of work. i have a project on the go at henley you can come and see if you like.
you can contact me through this site.

I am currently dealing with Jeckells (Wroxham) for a hood, overall cover and cockpit cushions and have been very impressed with the refreshingly efficient progress and competitive pricing.
Thay also do other interior work that I believe includes linings.

Don't worry about the distance as they make regular and frequent visits to the Thames.
For windows I always use Reading Marine Windows (possibly now just Marine Windows), based near Caversham Lock. Find them quite good and efficient.

For window repairs - last time we used Spencer @ Reading Marine Services, Scours Lane Reading. He was very efficent, kept you upto date with progress etc and left the boat tidy when he left. Windows were all removed and re-sealed 18 months ago, and touch wood, no leaks yet.

Agree, father in law used them and they did a good job of his too.

Also saw a jeckells hood yesterday, price seemed reasonable and they seemed to have done a good job.

Thanks for your replies.
I'll get some quotes and give them some thought. (see how much SWMBO will allow me to spend. Sad innit!)
