Upholsterer wanted - East Coast

I am sure Val referred to is the same as Marine Upholstery by Val

I used her three times - twice with the boat, last with the conservatory furniture. She is uttery brilliant. Her skill cannot be over exaggerated. Works at home (Clacton) and has a very well appointed workshop. Hits deadlines.

If Val previously worked at SLC upholstery I think she also did my boat, which was and still is perfect.

Val has also done work for me and is as described above, excellent. I've recommended her to several people and everyone has been more than pleased with her work (y)

OP, get Val to do it, here’s mine.

Upholsterer in Woodbridge, Suffolk: Nu-Life Furnishings Ltd

Above made some excellent cockpit cushions for me ⛵
I had some interior upholstery done by them mid 2000s. I have to say that there was nothing very wrong with the workmanship/sewing but it was 'domestic' upholstery quality (which is what they do very well) rather than 'marine standard'. I had it redone by Peter of Jeckells Trimmers a few years later - chalk and cheese IMO.

It's like having boat stainless work done by a company with a feeling for what's required aesthetically as well as practically, rather than by a general (competent), industrial SS fabricator - that's why I think Mr Stainless at Levington is one of the best in his field (& why he's so bloody expensive nowadays!).

Val's upholstery work looks excellent judging by the photo - bookmarked.

Anglia Upholstery, Unit 2, The Old Forge, Farnham Industrial Estate, Farnham IP17 1JZ, 01728602481 might be worth a try also.

I used them to re cover and make some vinyl seat squabs and back rests for a dory. They do all sorts, from home furnishings, caravans and boats, very helpful company.

Thank you Bob - Apprecite everyone's help
